Off-Duty WA Firefighter Saves Man From Burning Truck

Eastside Fire and Rescue Capt. Tom Tull was on his way to work when he saw the crash.

An off-duty firefighter sprung into  into action to save a person from a burning truck along an interstate. 

Eastside Fire and Rescue Capt. Tom Tull was on his way to work Tuesday night when he spotted the crash.

He and other motorists managed to get the person out of the vehicle.

Tull told reporters he did what any other firefighter would do in a similar situation.
